Strawberry “Toaster Strudel”
Ingredients:
- 1 package puff pastry (Thawed)
- 1-2 Large Egg
- 1 Tbsp water
- 1lb Cooked down strawberries (See strawberry syrup recipe)
- Strawberry syrup
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400°degrees.
- Roll out your puff pastry until its half the thickness.
- Whisk together the egg and water to make an egg wash and set aside.
- Cut the puff pastry sheets into 9 even pieces. You should end up with 18 pieces total.
- In the middle of 9 of the squares, evenly distribute the strawberries, make sure to leave ½ inch around the edges.
