Spiced Apple Cider



  • ½ Gallon Apple Juice or Cider
  • 3 Cinnamon Sticks
  • 1 Orange- Sliced
  • 1 Granny Smith Apple- Peeled, cored and sliced
  • 2 tsp Whole Cloves
  • .25oz Fresh Ginger
  • 2-3 Cups Bourbon
  • Fresh Nutmeg-Grated


  1. Combine all ingredients but the nutmeg and the bourbon into a large pot, simmer over medium heat for 10-15 minutes and remove from the heat.
  2. Strain the cider and discard the fruits and spices.
  3. Add the bourbon and nutmeg to the cider.
  4. Garnish with orange slices and cinnamon sticks.
  5. Enjoy!
