Snickerdoodle Cookies



  • 2 ½ Cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 Cup Unsalted Butter-Softened
  • 1 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • ½ Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • ½ Tsp Baking Soda
  • ¾ Tsp Cream of Tartar
  • Pinch of Salt
    • Garnish
    • Flake Salt-optional
    • 1 cup sugar+ ¼ cup cinnamon


  1. Preheat oven to 400F.
  2. Cream together sugar, brown sugar, and butter.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time and then add the vanilla.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the baking soda, flour, cream of tartar, and a pinch of salt. Blend thoroughly.
  5. Combine the flour mix with the wet mixture.
  6. Once everything is completely combined, roll the cookies in even circles.
  7. Blend together the cinnamon and sugar, roll the cookies in the mix and place on a sheet pan lined with foil or parchment.
  8. Place a touch of flake salt on top of each cookie.
  9. Place the cookies in the oven and bake until the cookies have spread out and firmed up. 12-15 minutes should work.
  10. Remove from the oven and enjoy!
