Snickerdoodle Cookies
Ingredients:
- 2 ½ Cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1 Cup Unsalted Butter-Softened
- 1 Cup Granulated Sugar
- ½ Cup Brown Sugar
- 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 Large Eggs
- ½ Tsp Baking Soda
- ¾ Tsp Cream of Tartar
- Pinch of Salt
- Garnish
- Flake Salt-optional
- 1 cup sugar+ ¼ cup cinnamon
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400F.
- Cream together sugar, brown sugar, and butter.
- Add the eggs one at a time and then add the vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, combine the baking soda, flour, cream of tartar, and a pinch of salt. Blend thoroughly.
- Combine the flour mix with the wet mixture.
- Once everything is completely combined, roll the cookies in even circles.
- Blend together the cinnamon and sugar, roll the cookies in the mix and place on a sheet pan lined with foil or parchment.
- Place a touch of flake salt on top of each cookie.
- Place the cookies in the oven and bake until the cookies have spread out and firmed up. 12-15 minutes should work.
- Remove from the oven and enjoy!
