Caramel Apple Butter



  • 2 Cups Granny Smith Apples- Diced
  • 8oz Sugar
  • 8oz Heavy Cream
  • 1-2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • Pinch of Salt


  1. Place a large nonstick pan over medium heat.
  2. Place the sugar in the pan, make sure its spread into an even layer.
  3. Once the sugar starts to liquify and caramelize, turn off the heat and add the cream, whisk as you add the cream so the sugar doesn’t clump.
  4. Once the caramel sauce is made, add the butter and mix until melted.
  5. Add the apples, vanilla and salt. Mix and slowly simmer for 20-25 minutes until the apples are tender
  6. Place in a blender and blend until smooth. Remove and cool.
  7. Enjoy!
